2024 OVERVIEW

• Dates: June 21-23
• Age Group: 11-18
• Gender: Girls
• Camp Types: Overnight & Extended Day (Commuter)
• Check-in: 1:30pm-2:00pm on Friday
• Check-out: Graduation takes place at 12:30pm on Sunday. Parents are invited to attend. Check out will take place immediately after.
• Extended Day (Commuter) Schedule: Friday: 2:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday: 9:00am-9:00pm, Sunday: 9:00am-12:30pm
• Meals: All meals are provided for Overnight campers. Lunch and dinner are provided for all Extended Day (commuter) campers.
• Program: This All Skills program is geared towards players of all abilities. The camp program includes stick work instruction & skills, technical & tactical training, offensive & defensive skills, and positioning work. Goalie-specific training is offered as well. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

McDonogh Field Hockey Camp (Ages 8-15)

Ages: Girls 8 to 15
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Dates and Tuition: June 17 to June 21 - $350 (Week of Juneteenth)

*Optional Weekly Transportation Fee - $25 per camper

The McDonogh Girls' Field Hockey Camp is designed for players whose goal is to develop a competitive spirit as well as technique. McDonogh Field Hockey Varsity Head Coach Courtenay Rainey and her experienced staff will provide campers with instruction, games, stick work practices, tactical offensive, and defensive strategies, and encouragement.

Each camper plays an equal amount of time in games, and staff members are available to give individual attention. Competitive and teamwork experiences will occur on the field and in the Henry A. Rosenberg, Jr. Aquatic Center.

Both novice and experienced players are welcome. Campers from the same school or from the same recreation or club team may practice and play together throughout the week—please note this on your child’s application form. All campers are required to bring their own water bottle/jug, stick, mouth and shin guards. Goalies must bring their own equipment.
